Dedicated to providing emotional, financial and advocacy support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Friends of Karen has served children throughout the New York metropolitan area for more than 25 years.
Friends of Karen serves children from birth to 21 who are diagnosed with any life-threatening illness and living in the New York metropolitan area, including all of New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens), Long Island (Nassau, Suffolk), Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Orange and Ulster Counties, northern New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Union), and Fairfield County, Connecticut. The organization offers its services regardless of race, color, creed, sex or handicap in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
